Use the mixed plastic from each color change to print the part's inner infill, which nobody sees. Less tower and less waste.
How it works
After a color change, the first plastic out of the nozzle is a mix of both colors. Normally it's dumped into the prime tower; with this option, it's used for the part's inner infill, which stays hidden behind the walls and the top and bottom layers.
If there are few walls, if they're thin, or if the filament is light or translucent, the mixed-color infill shows through a little.
When to change it
- A multicolor figure in matte PLA with 2 or more walls: turn it on and save plastic.
- A lamp in translucent white PLA or a single-wall part: leave it off, because the mixed infill would show.

Watch out for
- Only works with the prime tower enabled.

What Bambu Studio says
Purging after filament change will be done inside objects' infills. This may lower the amount of waste and decrease the print time. If the walls are printed with transparent filament, the mixed color infill will be seen outside. It will not take effect, unless the prime tower is enabled.
