Internal solid infill pattern
In Bambu Studio, the profile 0.20mm Standard @BBL A1 sets it toRectilinear
The pattern of the solid layers nobody sees: the ones under the top, above the base, and in small areas that get filled completely. “Rectilinear” is the fastest, and no one will see it.
How it works
Between the visible top and the hollow infill there are several solid layers; the same goes above the base. Since they're hidden, speed is what matters here: “Rectilinear” (back-and-forth lines) is the quickest.
If “Detect narrow internal solid infill” is on, narrow strips use concentric rings even if you pick a different pattern here. And the layer just below the top has its own pattern (“Sub-top surface pattern”).
When to change it
- Almost any part, from a figure to a box: leave “Rectilinear”.
- The lid of a box shows marks from the layers underneath: don't touch this; change “Sub-top surface pattern” or raise “Top shell layers”.
