Flush into this object
In Bambu Studio, the profile 0.20mm Standard @BBL A1 sets it toNo
Print this part with the transition plastic from the others: it comes out with stripes of mixed colors, but with almost no waste.
How it works
If the plate has one multicolor part and others whose looks don't matter (functional parts or parts you'll paint), those can be printed with the plastic that would be purged at each color change. That part comes out with odd-colored stripes and the tower nearly disappears.
It's set per object: select the object in the Objects tab. If the flush part is taller than the multicolor one, its top section is printed with clean filament.
When to change it
- A multicolor figure next to some clips or wedges that only need to work: turn it on for the clips.
- A miniature you'll prime and paint later: turn it on for it.
- Parts that will be seen as they are: never.
Typical values
| Value | What for |
|---|---|
| Off | Defaultdefault |
| On | Filler parts or parts to paint |
Watch out for
- Only works with the prime tower enabled.
- If the flush part is small, it can't take all the purge and the rest still goes to the tower.

What Bambu Studio says
This object will be used to purge the nozzle after a filament change to save filament and decrease the print time. Colours of the objects will be mixed as a result. It will not take effect, unless the prime tower is enabled.
