Print the part with a single wall that climbs in a nonstop spiral: no seam, no infill and no top. Perfect for vases; useless for almost everything else.
How it works
Instead of finishing each layer and then stepping up, the nozzle rises very slowly as it goes around, like a screw thread: one continuous line from the base to the top. There's no start or end of a layer, so there's no seam, and the wall comes out smooth and prints very fast.
When you turn it on, the slicer sets one wall, 0 top layers and 0% infill. The part is hollow and open at the top, with only the solid bottom layers.
When to change it
- A decorative vase, a lampshade or a planter cover: turn it on.
- A box with a lid, a load-bearing bracket or a figure with arms separate from the body: never.
- Several vases at once: set “Print sequence” to “By object”.

Watch out for
- A single wall is fragile and lets water through; for a real vase, seal it inside or use a wider nozzle.
- Not compatible with support or clumping detection.
- If a layer has two outlines, the nozzle has to jump from one to the other, and that does leave a mark.
