Prime tower width
In Bambu Studio, the profile 0.20mm Standard @BBL A1 sets it to35 mm
The horizontal size of the prime tower. Wider, it's more stable and has more room for purging, but it uses more plastic and takes up more space on the plate.
Not always visible. In Bambu Studio this setting only shows up when “Enable” is on. See Enable.
How it works
The tower has a fixed width and a depth the slicer calculates from how much needs purging on each layer. If you make it narrower, it gets deeper for the same volume.
With “Rib wall” turned on (it is by default), the slicer decides the width to keep the tower square, and this value can't be changed.
When to change it
- For almost anything: 35 mm, the default.
- A plate full of two-color keychains where the tower doesn't fit: lower it to 20–25 mm and turn off “Rib wall” so you can change it.
- A relief map with lots of colors per layer and big purges: 45–50 mm.

Watch out for
- It can't be edited with “Rib wall” turned on.
- A very narrow, tall tower tips over.
