Radial line count
With conformal infill: how many lines come out of the center, like the spokes of a wheel. At 0, infill density decides.
How it works
When conformal infill draws spokes, their number decides how much plastic there is near the edge: more spokes, stiffer and heavier part. At 0 it's worked out from the infill density. A number above 0 sets it by hand; it's rounded up to an even number and is at least 4.
When to change it
- Almost always: 0.
- A coaster or a round lid where you want a wheel pattern to show with an exact number of spokes: 8 or 12.
- A knob or a wheel that has to take hard twisting: 16–24, so it's stiffer.
Typical values
| Value | What for |
|---|---|
| 0 | Default; based on densitydefault |
| 8 | Eight spokes |
| 24 | Lots of spokes; more plastic |
Watch out for
- With many spokes, they crowd together near the center: that's what “Center region radius” is for.
- It only shows up when conformal infill is on.

What Bambu Studio says
How many radial lines around the center. 0 uses the count from sparse infill density. A positive value is the radial line count, rounded up to an even number of at least 4.
