Flush temperature
The temperature the nozzle purges the previous filament at on a color change. At 0, it uses the top of the recommended range.
How it works
When switching filament, the nozzle pushes out the old plastic before carrying on. Hotter, the plastic runs more and comes out more easily. At 0 (PLA Basic), it uses the top of the “Recommended nozzle temperature”: 240 °C.
When to change it
- Almost always: 0.
- Leftovers of the previous color leak in even after raising the purge: try a few degrees more, within the filament's range.
Typical values
| Value | What for |

Watch out for
- It only matters with several filaments (on the A1, with the AMS lite).

Using another slicer? Look for the idea, not the name: in Orca Slicer almost everything has the same name; in PrusaSlicer or Cura it may be called something else, or not exist.
