Lattice angle 2
With the “2D Lattice” pattern: how far the second set of bars tilts from vertical. With the first at -45° and this one at +45°, they cross in an X.
Not always visible. In Bambu Studio this setting only shows up when “Sparse infill pattern” is “2D Lattice”. See Sparse infill pattern.
How it works
It's the partner of angle 1. The two sets of bars cross and form the lattice. If you set them to the same angle, they stop crossing and the infill loses stiffness.
When to change it
- The usual: +45°.
- A small stool or a pedestal that takes weight from above: +30° here and -30° in angle 1, for more upright bars.
Typical values
| Value | What for |
|---|---|
| 45 | Defaultdefault |
| 30 | More upright bars |
| 60 | Flatter bars |
Watch out for
- It only shows up with the “2D Lattice” pattern.
