Ending height
The height at which the final speed cap is reached; above it, that cap stays in place. It must be greater than the starting height.
How it works
Between the starting height and this one, speed and acceleration drop in a straight line. At 400 mm (the factory value) the ramp is so long it barely slows anything; for a 200 mm tower it's best to enter its actual height here.
When to change it
- A 200 mm tower: enter 200 mm, or the height above which you want the strongest slowdown.
Typical values
| Value | What for |
|---|---|
| 400 | Default; very long rampdefault |
| 200 | 200 mm tower |
Watch out for
- If it's lower than or equal to the starting height, the slowdown doesn't work.
- It only shows up with “Slow down by height” turned on.

Using another slicer? Look for the idea, not the name: in Orca Slicer almost everything has the same name; in PrusaSlicer or Cura it may be called something else, or not exist.
