Acceleration at ending height
The acceleration cap when the height slowdown ends. It's the one that really gets rid of jolts at the top: lower means smoother corners.
Not always visible. In Bambu Studio this setting only shows up when “Slow down by height” is on. See Slow down by height.
How it works
On a tall part, what makes it wobble are sudden changes of direction. Lowering the acceleration at the very top (for example, to 1500 mm/s²) softens every corner; speed matters less.
When to change it
- A tall, slender tower or figure: 1000–2000 mm/s².
- A part that's tall but sturdy, like a wide vase: 3000 mm/s².
Typical values
| Value | What for |

| 1500 | Top without jolts |
Watch out for
- It only shows up with “Slow down by height” turned on.

Using another slicer? Look for the idea, not the name: in Orca Slicer almost everything has the same name; in PrusaSlicer or Cura it may be called something else, or not exist.
