Interlocking depth for painted areas
How deep the areas you painted with another filament interlock with the material next to them. 0 turns it off.
How it works
When you paint a color onto a model, the slicer splits the part into areas of different filaments. With a value above 0, those areas interlock with the neighboring area up to that depth, instead of joining only along one face.
It's the painted-area version of beam interlocking.
When to change it
- A logo painted in another color of the same PLA: 0 (default).
- Grip bands painted in TPU on a PLA handle that come loose: 1–2 mm.
