Overlap carving by size
When two parts of an object overlap, the overlap is carved by size (the smaller one wins) instead of by the order you added them. That way, a small part tucked inside another doesn't disappear.
How it works
An object can be made of several parts, for example a body and a detail in another color tucked inside it. Where they overlap, the slicer has to decide which one wins. By default the order of the parts decides, and a small part inside a large one can get swallowed.
With this option, the smaller part keeps its space, whatever the order.
When to change it
- A keychain with an eye in another color tucked inside the head, which disappears when slicing: turn it on.
- Single-part objects: it doesn't matter, nothing changes.

What Bambu Studio says
When enabled, overlapping model parts are carved by bounding-box size so smaller embedded parts are not removed by larger parts due to volume order.

Using another slicer? Look for the idea, not the name: in Orca Slicer almost everything has the same name; in PrusaSlicer or Cura it may be called something else, or not exist.
