Cooling overhang threshold
From how much overhang the fan goes up to the overhang speed: the share of the line's width with nothing underneath.
How it works
A wall line that hangs slightly over the layer below holds itself up; one that hangs more than half needs air to harden before it sags. At 50%, the fan goes up when at least half of the line is in the air.
At 0%, the fan runs at the overhang speed on the whole outer wall, overhanging or not.
When to change it
- PLA: 50%, as it comes.
- Gentle overhangs that come out curled: lower it to 25%.

What Bambu Studio says
Force cooling fan to be specific speed when overhang degree of printed part exceeds this value. Expressed as percentage which indicides how much width of the line without support from lower layer. 0% means forcing cooling for all outer wall no matter how much overhang degree
