Inner wall acceleration
How hard the print head speeds up and brakes on the inner walls, the ones you don't see. At 0 it uses the normal acceleration.
How it works
Inner walls are hidden, so they can run at the normal acceleration (6000 mm/s²). This setting exists to lower it if their jolts make the part wobble or show through on the outer wall.
When to change it
- Most parts: leave 0.
- A tall, thin tower (a slim pencil holder, a standing figure) that shakes while it prints: 3000.
Typical values
| Value | What for |
|---|---|
| 0 | Default; uses normal accelerationdefault |
| 3000 | Gentler |
Watch out for
- 0 doesn't mean “no acceleration”: it means “the same as normal”. If you change the normal acceleration, the inner walls follow it.
