Skeleton line width
With the “Locked Zag” pattern: how wide the lines of plastic in the skeleton, the central zone of the infill, are. Wider lines give a sturdier skeleton.
Not always visible. In Bambu Studio this setting only shows up when “Sparse infill pattern” is “Locked Zag”. See Sparse infill pattern.
How it works
It's like the regular infill line width, but only for the skeleton. At 0.45 mm (the default) it matches the “Sparse infill” width.
When to change it
- A large planter or box with a very low skeleton (5–8%), where the lines come out broken or snap during printing: 0.5 mm.
- The usual: 0.45 mm.
Typical values
| Value | What for |
|---|---|
| 0.42 | Same as the outer wall |
| 0.45 | Defaultdefault |
| 0.55 | Sturdier skeleton |
Watch out for
- It only shows up with the “Locked Zag” infill pattern.
