Automatic circle compensation
Corrects only the size of round holes and outlines up to 50 mm, using data Bambu measured for each filament. No measuring or calibrating on your part.
How it works
Round holes come out a little smaller than designed and round outlines a little off, and by how much depends on the diameter and the filament. Bambu measured that deviation for some of its filaments and keeps a table of corrections.
With this option, the slicer applies that table to every circle under 50 mm it finds in the model. It only works with the filaments that have data: PLA Basic, PLA CF, PET CF, PETG CF and PETG HF. It's an experimental feature.
When to change it
- A part with holes for screws, shafts or magnets printed in PLA Basic or PETG HF: turn it on and check the result.
- With other filaments it does nothing: use “X-Y hole compensation” by hand.
Typical values
| Value | What for |
|---|---|
| No | Defaultdefault |
| Yes | Corrects circles with Bambu's table |
Watch out for
- It doesn't act on holes that aren't round or on diameters over 50 mm.
- If you also use “X-Y hole compensation”, the two add up: make sure you're not correcting twice.
- Turning it on reveals “User Customized Offset”, to make the fit tighter or looser.

What Bambu Studio says
Expirment feature to compensate the circle holes and circle contour. This feature is used to improve the accuracy of the circle holes and contour within the diameter below 50mm. Only support PLA Basic, PLA CF, PET CF, PETG CF and PETG HF.

Using another slicer? Look for the idea, not the name: in Orca Slicer almost everything has the same name; in PrusaSlicer or Cura it may be called something else, or not exist.
