Support ironing inset
How far short of the edge of the support interface the ironing stops. At 0 it goes right to the edge and can leave a small ridge.
How it works
When ironing all the way to the edge, the plastic the nozzle drags along piles up at the rim. An inset of one or two tenths of a millimeter stops the ironing just before it, and the ridge doesn't appear.
On a support interface the ridge matters little, because the edge of the support doesn't touch the part; that's why it comes set to 0.
When to change it
- Most parts: 0 (the default).
- You see a marked line on the underside of the part right where the interface ended: 0.2 mm.

Watch out for
- It only shows up with support interface ironing turned on.

Using another slicer? Look for the idea, not the name: in Orca Slicer almost everything has the same name; in PrusaSlicer or Cura it may be called something else, or not exist.
